    We did not have reservations and were lucky to be able to get a site, but what a pleasure it turned out to be! This is a rare gem amongst urban campgrounds - not only close to town and many other of the local sights, but simply a great campground. Ultra clean bathroom and shower facilities, modern and spotless laundry facilities, friendly (adequately bilingual) staff, and excellent rates ($35) for a full hookup site. Small but fun splash pad for the kids, firewood, and most usual campground amenities except for propane while is available in town. Only one issue - there seems to be quite a few sites dedicated to what appears to be semi or fully permanent RV residents - a disappointment when it comes at a cost of turning away transient campers (as it appears this campground is often at full capacity) and cause them to miss out at an opportunity to visit this great facility. Reservations strongly recommended.
